Transcality offers online planning tools that host and manage traffic models on its servers, providing up-to-date digital transportation twins accessible via a web-based interface. The startup fuses and analyses multiple data sources to deliver insights into current traffic conditions for planners and operators. It combines machine learning, simulation, cloud computing and automation to create affordable, adaptable products and services for flexible transportation planning. Transcality was incorporated in 2022 and is an ETH spin-off based in Zurich; the team currently consists of seven people. Co-founders Lukas Ambühl and Gabriel Tilg serve as Co-CEOs and Sasan Amini is CTO. Over the next two years the company plans to advance its SaaS digital twin products to support public authorities, private infrastructure operators and engineering firms.
