TransHumanity Ltd. commercialises AptIq, the first large-language-model-based agentic AI platform designed for transport data analysis. AptIq allows transport authorities to ask questions in plain English and receive analytics that traditionally take days in just seconds, supporting initiatives such as congestion reduction, road-safety improvements, business-case creation and net-zero targets. The technology emerged from the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship research of Dr. Haitao He and has already been piloted with Nottingham City Council and Transport for Greater Manchester. Recognised as a Top 10 finalist for the 2024 Manchester Prize and one of the UK Department for Business & Trade’s Top 40 tech start-ups, the product has generated early sector interest. Founded in January 2025 by CEO Zhenzhen Wang and CTO Barclay Gauld, the company aims to expand to additional city, regional and national authorities within the next 12 months. Its roadmap includes integrating more diverse data sources, advanced analytics and greater user control over the AI. The recent capital raise gives the startup the resources to scale deployments and enhance product capabilities.
