TraqueR is a software project originating from the CHU de Brest that focuses on the identification and management of patients infected or colonised with BHRe (Bactéries Hautement Résistantes Émergentes). By helping clinicians monitor carriers and implement containment protocols, the platform aims to reduce the spread of antibiotic-resistant germs within healthcare facilities. Antibiotic resistance currently causes about 120,000 infections and more than 5,000 deaths each year in France, and the burden is expected to rise sharply by 2050, underscoring the need for such tools. The software integrates patient data and infection-control workflows to give hospitals real-time visibility on at-risk cases. TraqueR’s roadmap includes further product development and pilot deployments across additional hospitals. To finance these efforts, the team secured a €250k grant through the national France 2030 programme. No revenue figures or user metrics have been disclosed to date.
