Travellution operates a social travel planning website that connects travelers who plan the same trip with similar interests. Led by CEO Giacomo Bastianelli, the company is based in Paris and has moved operations to Paris Incubateurs Nouveaux Medias. The recent funding will support expansion of full-time staff and the deployment of a redeveloped version of its site by year-end 2012, including a graphical redesign and new features. The company raised over €300K in its second funding round from business angels and existing investors and also received a €100K grant from OSEO. To aid growth it added two advisors: Olivier Fleurot, CEO of MSLGroup, and Pierluigi Paracchi, entrepreneur and venture capitalist. The company previously attracted seed funding and launched a public platform in November 2011.
