Treadstone Energy Partners, LLC is a newly formed independent oil and natural gas company based in Houston, Texas. The company will focus on the acquisition and development of conventional oil and natural gas properties with identifiable exploitation and development upside in the Mid-Continent region and Texas. It was founded by President and CEO Frank McCorkle, Key Sanford, and Gene Roberts. The founders previously worked together at BP in the North American Gas Performance Unit and, most recently, served in key positions during BP’s entry into the Eagle Ford Shale. The management team has a combined 65 years of industry experience. The company received a $50m initial equity commitment from Kayne Anderson Energy Fund V and management.
