Treehouse Games is a Los Angeles-based studio building cooperative games intended to deepen and improve friendships. The company has not yet launched its first title; it says the debut will let players work together to accomplish shared goals and produce a sense of a shared journey. Treehouse was founded by Michael Chu and Ryan Sullivan; Chu previously served as a product lead at Riot Games. Financially, the company completed a seed funding round to support development and early operations. The studio was founded on the conviction that games can deepen and improve friendships and is using that thesis to guide its design and launch plans.
