TRENDii builds an AI-driven contextual commerce platform that turns images and video into instant shoppable experiences for readers. The company uses proprietary AI to deliver contextual ads that enable instant purchase while aiming to be privacy-friendly and non-intrusive. It focuses on helping fashion and homeware brands reach consumers at the moment they are inspired to shop and gives publishers a new way to monetise content. TRENDii is two years old and led by CEO Aaron Woolf. The startup already works with major media partners including the Daily Mail, Are Media, News Corp, and the US women’s brand PopSugar. Following a $2.9M Seed raise, the company plans international expansion, product and category development, new technology, and to build out its partnerships team.
