Overview
Trendsi connects sellers with suppliers and manages the back-end supply chain for its customers, enabling drop-shipping and lowering inventory risk. The platform applies AI and machine learning to forecast sales down to the SKU level and to curate and recommend products for sellers. It launched a "just-in-time" manufacturing feature to help manufacturers restock quickly based on real-time sales data and to share inventory risk across retailers, Trendsi, and manufacturers. Trendsi gained traction during the pandemic and reports new user growth up 10x year-over-year; it currently has 105 full-time employees and expects to hire 15 more by year end. The company plans to invest in data infrastructure, supply-chain technology, expand into new merchandise categories such as home decor, accessories and makeup, and pursue international expansion. Financially, Trendsi closed a $25M Series A that brought its total capital raised to $30M.
