Trensor designs and manufactures pressure sensors and integrated temperature-and-pressure sensors for industrial, automotive, and home-appliance sectors. Founded in 2009 and based in Wuxi, the company exports more than 80% of its products to Europe and North America, supplying carmakers such as Ford and tier-one parts manufacturers including Cummins, Hanon Systems, and Valeo. Trensor has developed integrated sensors for thermal management systems in new energy vehicles (NEVs) and has already won orders and built new production lines for those products. At the Shanghai Auto Show the company’s integrated temperature-and-pressure sensors attracted interest from procurement teams of multiple automakers and suppliers. The firm is one of the few Chinese companies with experience of mass production for the passenger car sector, and investors see opportunity in both fuel and new energy vehicles.
