TriEye develops shortwave infrared (SWIR) imaging hardware and sensors designed to provide cost-effective, high-resolution image data at night and in adverse weather. Its Raven SWIR camera is built around a CMOS-based Raven image sensor that brings SWIR capabilities compatible with existing ADAS and autonomous vehicle architectures. The company says its image data can be used with existing computer vision algorithms, enabling improved reliability and safety for ADAS and AV systems. TriEye also positions the technology for robotics, smart city, industrial, drone, agriculture, and maritime applications. The company is led by CEO Avi Bakal, Omer Kapach and Uriel Levy. Including the new round, TriEye has raised $20 million to date.
