Trilobio
544 Bryant St, San Francisco, CA, 94107, United States
Overview
Trilobio offers a fully automated robotic lab-in-a-box platform comprising the Trilobot hardware and Trilobio OS no-code protocol software, enabling researchers to design and run experiments without coding. Each Trilobot holds up to eight interchangeable lab device tools (e.g., grippers, pipettes, tube cap/de-capper), self-calibrates, and can be linked into collaborative fleets to scale capacity. Trilobio OS converts lab-notebook style protocols into executable plans and can automatically optimize runs for speed, cost, or accuracy to ensure reproducibility across Trilobio-enabled labs. The company says the platform reduces execution time from days or weeks to minutes and has been deployed at leading biology labs across the United States. Founded in 2021 and based in San Francisco, Trilobio has raised an $8M Seed round and has to date raised over $11M. The new funding will be used to expand the platform’s robotics capabilities, no-code software features, and integration of additional purpose-built lab devices and protocols.
