Triple offers an API-first transaction enrichment service that maps raw bank transaction descriptions to merchant counterparties and structured data for use by banks and fintechs. The product emerged after the founders pivoted from an automated rewards marketplace when they discovered banks required better transaction data to support such services. Triple prioritises accuracy and security in its fintech infrastructure offering. Founded in 2021 and based in London, Triple says its API has processed billions of transactions and is used by more than 20 banks and fintechs globally, including Pleo, Trade Republic, and Ben. The company plans to use new funding to continue development of its fintech infrastructure services. CEO Mario Navarro says Triple focuses on helping banks get access to better data.
