The company’s driver smartphone app has been downloaded by over 500,000 owner-operators and small-carrier drivers and features Load Track to connect drivers with carriers and brokers while eliminating manual check calls. The app integrates with a smartphone’s GPS to continually capture precise location data in real time and transmit it over Trucker Tools’ secure network. Trucker Tools offers load tracking and carrier management capabilities to shippers, carriers and brokers. The company says it will use the proceeds from its recent raise to support product development and customer acquisition. Leadership is led by founder and CEO Prasad Gollapalli.
