Turing College is a Vilnius-based training school focused on data science that operates a self-paced curriculum typically completed in about nine months. The learning platform has been developed and road-tested and the team says 70% of staff are data-science experts. The first learners began classes in November and three batches now total 70 students from Lithuania, the Netherlands, Serbia, Ireland, Nigeria, and Latvia. The company reports 21% of graduates have secured employment after completion and it maintains hiring partnerships across tech, biotech, cybersecurity, and aviation. Founded in 2020 and backed by Y Combinator (W21), Turing College plans to expand into the Netherlands and Estonia and will build local learner communities with in-person meetups where conditions permit. To date the company has raised $2.5 million.
