Turing Pharmaceuticals AG is a New York City and Zug, Switzerland–based biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing treatments for serious and life‑threatening diseases. It develops and commercializes innovative treatments across a broad range of therapeutic areas where there are limited or no treatment options. Products in development include intranasal ketamine for various mood disorders and Syntocinon® (oxytocin nasal solution) for multiple indications, and the company’s first commercial product is Vecamyl® (mecamylamine HCl tablets) for hypertension. Turing also acquired the exclusive U.S. rights to market Daraprim® (pyrimethamine) from Impax Laboratories as part of a strategic effort focused on toxoplasmosis and other serious infectious diseases. The company completed a $90M Series A financing; the round included the issuance of senior secured debt. Turing intends to invest the proceeds in acquisitions and in advancing and accelerating its pipeline of novel drug candidates.
