The platform enables tutors to build their businesses and attract clients online. Tutorful has over 11,000 registered tutors and employs 55 permanent staff. Founded in 2015 by CEO Mark Hughes and based in Sheffield, the company recently launched in France and Ireland. Tutorful intends to use new funding to further enhance the platform, expand into additional international markets and support team growth. The company plans to create around 27 additional jobs at its Sheffield headquarters.
