Overview

Twin & Chic is an eco‑ethical children's fashion label founded as a brand in 2017 and commercialized from 2018, based in San Sebastián. The company produces sustainable, skin‑healthy garments and sells through its online store, multibrand retailers and platforms such as Zalando, with presence in London, Milan, Germany, the U.S., Japan and Korea. It has research partnerships with the University of Navarra and Clínica Universidad de Navarra to develop the "Skin‑Healthy Clothes" standard and study effects of innovative, more sustainable fibers on children's skin. Twin & Chic plans to use new funding to expand its national and international distribution—with a focus on Italy and the U.K.—and to broaden product categories into sport‑wear, sleep‑wear, footwear and accessories. The company also intends to begin a new cosmetics and perfumery line called Skin‑Healthy. In its first three years the firm achieved revenue above €400,000 and forecasted to double its 2021 revenue by the end of 2022. Twin&Chic, founded in 2018, designs premium, dermo‑healthy children's apparel using GOTS‑certified organic fabrics; design is based in San Sebastián while production is outsourced to workshops in Guipúzcoa and Galicia. The company targets children aged 0–10 and emphasizes skin‑friendly, sustainable materials. In 2021 Twin&Chic accelerated international expansion: it joined Zalando (reaching 17 European countries), opened its first physical corner at El Corte Inglés Serrano 47 in Madrid, and expanded via multimarca into South Korea, Singapore and the United States, bringing its presence to 21 countries. Those commercial moves form part of a strategic plan to reach €1 million in revenue in 2022. At the end of 2020 the company completed a €156,000 funding round via La Bolsa Social, which brought venture capital fund Easo Ventures and accelerator BerriUp into its shareholder base. Management is led by founder and CEO Erika Gómez (with prior experience at BBVA and KPMG) alongside co‑founder Rafael Moral; the board includes executives such as Luis Lara and Juanjo Azkárate.
