Twinnin

4811 Airport Plaza Dr, Suite 220, Long Beach, CA, 90815, USA

Overview

Twinnin builds digital likenesses of actors—cloned faces that can be licensed to studios or brands for use in shows, movies or ads. Actors can sign up for $14.99 per year to post their digital likeness and receive callouts, while studios and brands subscribe to tiered plans that include a top tier priced at $1,200 per month. Since launch the platform says it has 2,000 signed-up twins and that subscriber numbers have been doubling weekly. The company is owned by tech firm AI Kat and is backed by Google and Nvidia. Twinnin has held stakeholder meetings with organizations including Equity and casting platform Spotlight and has faced controversy and ethical questions, particularly around consent for minors. The company plans to use new capital to invest in technology, expand the team and scale the business, and aims to pursue a Series A within 12–14 months if it meets revenue and KPI targets. Founder Katrien Grobler has articulated a vision that by 2030 roughly half of humans in AI content will be licensed real humans—Twinnin digital twins.
