Twirl provides a code-first platform for teams to deploy data pipelines and manage all infrastructure and scaling. It unifies analytics, machine learning and other workloads with built-in best practices and offers abstractions such as tables, streams, jobs and schemas to simplify incremental updates and schema evolution. Users can process data in any language, sync data between data stores, and mix batch and streaming workloads within the same platform. The product enables teams to run and test dependent jobs together to catch errors early, unit test code, and continuously monitor assumptions about data. Twirl is based in Stockholm and was founded by Rebecka Storm and Eric Hansander. The company raised $2.5M in a pre-seed round and intends to use the funds to expand operations and broaden its business reach.
