U24 Solutions builds VR multiplayer game solutions and tools and is developing the upcoming VR game Cradle of Sins. The startup aims to broaden VR appeal to larger audiences and users who don’t yet own headsets, in a market the article says is expected to reach 5 million. U24 has partnered with esports and gaming media company Wehype to promote Cradle of Sins and ran a closed event where streamers including Steve Aoki, Headhunterz and xQc tried an early version. The team emphasizes agile development, testing every update with hundreds of players, and says its tools can be up to 3x faster at launching new VR environments. The company was founded in 2017 and positions its brand around high-quality, “unreal” VR experiences. Financially, after a prior €350K bridge round U24 has secured close to €1 million in total funding to continue developing its multiplayer solutions and the upcoming game.
