ubitricity
EUREF-Campus 7-8, Berlin, 10829, Germany
Overview
ubitricity develops a virtual charging network that enables every electric socket to serve as a charging point for electric cars. The company is assembling and integrating backend processes—user authentication, meter data collection and billing—in cooperation with providers of remote meter reading, energy data management and billing services. Its platform integrates these pieces to let users securely charge vehicles at any location en route. The €1.8M Series A financing will fund development of the missing pieces and conclude system and process integration. As part of the round, Earlybird’s Wolfgang Seibold will join ubitricity’s supervisory board. The company was founded in 2008 and is based in Berlin, Germany.
