Ubox operates a national network of interactive vending machines and provides an O2O shopping experience where customers can shop via its mobile application and collect purchases at machines. The company combines traditional vending functionality with digital services and an advertising/digital-marketing business. Established in 2010 and led by Chairman Wang Bin, Ubox had more than 30,000 vending machines across 58 cities as of June 30, 2015. The business plans to further expand its vending machine network in China and to improve its digital marketing and advertising capabilities.
