Uiflow provides an app design and engineering platform that lets teams build frontend apps on top of existing infrastructure by accessing data via APIs and using a visual coding language called Flowlang. The platform supports multi-page apps, integrates with popular authentication services, and can preserve security and deployment on customers’ own servers. Uiflow was co-founded by CEO Sol Eun and Eric Rowell in early 2020. The company has a partnership with Freshworks to let customers build dashboards for Freshservice, with a general availability launch planned for November and expansion to additional Freshworks products thereafter. CEO Sol Eun said the company has users across more than 800 organizations, has closed multiple enterprise accounts, and has tripled its team over the last 12 months. Uiflow plans to use the new capital to expand its team and begin a go-to-market motion while expanding to more platforms and eventually adding backend development capabilities. Uiflow offers a collaborative no-code platform that lets developers and enterprise teams build secure, scalable, and custom web applications visually, including both UI and app logic. The platform integrates with customers' existing backends, libraries and services and is designed for enterprise use to address rising software demand. Since debuting in November 2020, Uiflow has signed multiple enterprise customers, including a leading global professional‑services firm, and recorded more than 3,200 beta signups. The company has grown its team from five to 13 employees, hiring talent from Uber, Netflix, Webflow and adding the founder of GrapesJS. Uiflow plans to deepen its platform offering, launch a public beta early next year, and expand its product and engineering teams. Financially, the company has raised a total of $6 million to date and will use the new capital to accelerate product development and team expansion. Uiflow is a Y Combinator-backed startup building a no-code enterprise app creation service that works with whatever backend a large company currently employs and supports collaborative development workflows. Developers can import Figma files, engineers can use existing UI libraries, and product managers can quickly vet an app’s logic; the company describes the product as a cross between Unity and Figma. The five-person, Bay Area-based team has been alive for less than a year and targets companies with roughly 250 or more workers. After its Product Hunt launch Uiflow picked up around 1,200 signups and is vetting that group, letting some in as pilot customers. Those pilot customers currently pay the company, so Uiflow has revenue, though the startup is prioritizing product development over near-term revenue growth. Uiflow plans to fully launch self-serve distribution before accelerating hiring or pursuing additional fundraising.
