Uncovet is an ecommerce site that creates a style graph to deliver personalized recommendations for indie designer clothing, accessories, and home décor. The company uses Facebook Connect and users' Facebook Likes to inform recommendations and allow social sharing. Its site features curated selections such as “Daily Finds” and aims to target young, trend-conscious shoppers. Uncovet reports more than 500,000 monthly visitors, with half of daily visits already coming from mobile devices. Shoppers visit the site more than six times per month and open Uncovet emails about nine times per month. The company launched last year and is a graduate of Science. It plans native mobile apps, with an iPhone app scheduled for early June and Android and iPad apps to follow later in the year.
