UniFa develops an IoT system for monitoring young children’s well-being, centered on a personal robot called Meebo alongside a smart thermometer and a smart bed. The devices collect physiological and behavioral data from children at kindergarten to give parents a clearer picture of their child’s health and development. The product suite is designed to track both physical and mental growth through continuous data capture in the childcare setting. UniFa won the Startup World Cup final pitch competition, which resulted in an investment prize. Financially, the company secured a $1.0M equity investment from Fenox Venture Capital as the competition prize.
