UniLah is described as a student app and was one of four startups featured at Asia Pro Ventures’ “Meet the Founder’s” event in March 2023. The company completed a seed fundraising round that totaled US$125,000. Asia Pro Ventures led the round through its Asia Pro Investor Club, which curated a group of angel investors. The lead curated angels were chosen to provide expertise, connections and to help the founder gain traction and drive revenue. Asia Pro Ventures noted it could have raised the sum from one or two investors but intentionally brought in multiple angels so each could contribute distinct value to the business.
