Unison is a Romanian plant-based food company that owns its production, packaging, and fulfillment operations in Bucharest. Its products are sold primarily through small retailers (80% of sales) and online (20%), and sales grew without marketing until August of this year. The company emphasizes sustainability—using eco-friendly packaging and electric cars for deliveries within Bucharest and Ilfov—and focuses on educating consumers about plant-based nutrition. Co-founders Tudor Iacob and Tatiana Nicoară met during an accelerator in 2019 and built the brand around making healthy, plant-based meals more accessible.
