Unity Coffee
8 King Edward Street, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 4HL, United Kingdom
Overview
Unity Coffee develops an automated retail platform combining connected coffee machines with an app for ordering, payments and real-time loyalty. The company ran pilot tests in London and plans a rollout of more than 500 machines in the next 12 months targeting gyms, hotels, flexible workspaces and fuel stations. Founded by Scott Martin, a former Costa and Coffee Nation executive, Unity Coffee aims to offer barista-quality drinks at lower prices via a digitally driven platform. Financially, the company has raised $4 million to date, including a $2.7 million second funding round announced in April 2026 that attracted angel and industry investors such as Warren Johnson. The new capital will be used to scale both hardware and software as part of building out its automated retail ecosystem.
