Overview
Unizen is a Binance chain-based centralized-decentralized (CeDeFi) exchange that supports cross-chain swaps and an aggregating interface to source assets at the best fees across multiple liquidity pools. The platform aims to combine the convenience and compliance of centralized exchanges with the trustlessness and low fees of decentralized exchanges. Unizen launched in 2021 and is led by CEO Sean Noga. The company is launching ZenX Labs, an incubator to grow compliant decentralized applications (DApps) with technical expertise and growth management. It plans to offer incentives and rewards to native $ZCX token holders via Dynamic Multi-Asset Staking (DMAS), allowing incubated projects to reward the Unizen community. The $ZCX token is available on Unizen, Uniswap and centralized exchanges including KuCoin, Gate, MEX, and BitMart. Unizen operates a hybrid CeDeFi protocol that merges centralized and decentralized approaches to cryptocurrency products. The protocol emphasizes compliance and coordination between centralized and decentralized teams. Unizen has entered a partnership with Jun Capital, which will provide financial and organizational support. As part of the partnership, Unizen and Jun Capital are launching the CeDeFi Alliance, a nonprofit focused on regulatory frameworks and compliance for distributed projects. Projects admitted to the CeDeFi Alliance can grow through ZenX, an incubator run by Unizen and Jun Capital offering financial and consulting support and community development. Initially the Alliance will onboard projects with decentralized and centralized financial modules and plans to expand into other segments of the blockchain industry.
