Upkept provides an online platform that allows customers to send garments for repairs such as hems, seam repairs and hole fixes, and offers B2B services including remanufacturing and small-batch production for apparel companies. Upkept serves customers nationwide and has completed repairs from 16 states, with an average turnaround time of seven to ten days. Its business model combines direct-to-consumer repair services and business-to-business offerings for brands. The startup has eight employees and contractors supporting operations, customer service, fulfillment and technology. Leadership includes founder and CEO Robin Wallis Atkinson and co-founder/CFTO Dr. Cash Acrey, and the company recently named an inaugural board of directors.
