Upright operates the Upright Project, a deep‑tech open-data analysis platform that quantifies companies’ and funds’ net impact on environment, health, knowledge creation and society. The platform draws on a global open-access scientific database of more than 200 million articles and aligns its metrics with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and EU taxonomy estimates. Its UX displays net-impact diagrams that score positive and negative effects on metrics such as job creation, disease prevention and GHG emissions. The software is designed to support compliance with EU sustainable finance disclosure regulations for screening, due diligence and reporting of sustainability-led investment products. Upright says it will soon launch versions of the tool for consumers and employees. The company has raised new seed funding to scale the project and broaden access to impact data.
