UPTY, founded in 2020 by Valentin Savchenko in Tallinn, Estonia, operates a marketplace for pre-loved wardrobe items including clothes, bags and shoes. The platform lets sellers order a free UPTY Clean Out Bag, place unwanted items in it, send it back via a parcel machine, and have UPTY perform quality control, measurements, pricing, photography, listing and shipping. Sellers receive a percentage of the listing price after items sell. The company raised €650K in a pre-seed round and has launched a new fundraising push targeting €3M to support international expansion. UPTY currently operates in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland and has begun entering the German market. It plans further expansion across France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway in 2022–2023 and is using recent funds to scale operations.
