ustyme is a free video-call app for iPad that creates shared experiences using interactive books and games. The app launched in the Apple App Store and automatically populates new users' libraries with two books, Three Little Pigs and Old MacDonald, and six games such as Rock-Paper-Scissors. Once signed in, users can call each other, select content and interact directly within the book or game while seeing and talking to each other during the video call. The app is compatible with iPad generation 2 and newer and is free to download; content starts at $0.99. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Linda Salesky and is based in Sausalito, California. ustyme raised $2 million in angel funding.
