Utopia Labs is building an infrastructure stack and operating system for DAOs, beginning with payments functionality. Its V1 product focuses on member payments, invoice and reimbursement workflows, and batching transactions across multiple people and coins. The product is built on top of Gnosis SAFE, the financial core used by many DAOs. The team plans to add financial analysis and accounting features to attach labels and metadata to payments to avoid manual accounting via Etherscan dumps. Forward roadmap items include traditional fiat currency services, cross-chain DAO support, real-world compliance workflows and partnerships across the DAO ecosystem. The company was founded in September and has raised capital to begin hiring engineering staff.
