Uxia

Barcelona Activa's Startup Lab, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Overview

Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Barcelona, Uxia offers a platform that simulates user behaviour through AI-generated personas, allowing designers and product managers to upload prototypes, define target profiles, and receive usability feedback within minutes. By replacing the costly and time-consuming process of recruiting human testers and manually analysing sessions, the company aims to make continuous user testing effortless and ubiquitous. Uxia currently serves clients across Europe, Korea, and the United States and operates from Barcelona Activa’s Startup Lab accelerator. The founding team draws experience from Google, Gopuff, Shiji, TransferGo, and other tech firms, with CEO Borja Díaz-Roig previously leading Product Growth at TransferGo and CTO Víctor Perdiguer specialising in AI integrations at Shiji Group. The newly secured capital will fund product enhancements such as additional test types, higher-fidelity personas, and richer reporting, while also expanding engineering, AI, design, and sales headcount. Management envisions raising a Seed round within 12–24 months to support continued international expansion and category leadership in AI-driven UX validation. Although revenue or user figures were not disclosed, the company positions itself within a growing European market for AI-enabled B2B software, alongside peers that collectively attracted roughly €12 million in 2025.
