Uxin operates China's largest online used-car auction platform (Uxin Pai) and offers a B2C retail platform and auto-financing through Uxin Finance. The company uses a proprietary “CheckAuto” inspection system and employs over 1,000 specialists across 50 Chinese cities to inspect and certify vehicles. Uxin handles over 150,000 annual transactions and held a 47.8% share of online used-car transaction volume in the first half of 2014, according to iResearch. Founded in 2011 and based in Beijing, Uxin recently launched Uxin Used Car (www.xin.com) and a beta mobile app to serve retail buyers. The company plans to expand its platform into the B2C used-car market using proceeds from its latest fundraise. It raised US$170 million in the round to support that expansion.
