Valendo Health offers telehealth and remote patient monitoring for diabetes, an endocrinology-focused EMR, data analytics, and support for implementing value-based care contracting. The company was built out of Redesign Health and launched with $4 million in seed funding. It aims to increase endocrinologists’ clinical capacity and practice revenue through virtual care and practice management support. Valendo also seeks to help endocrinologists transition into value-based contracts so they are rewarded for patient outcomes. At launch it partnered with Cecelia Health and Advanced Metabolic Care + Research to expand access to specialty diabetes care.
