Valet Anywhere is an on-demand valet service provider that lets urban car owners access long-term parking at prices lower than most garages. The startup was founded in New York City in 2014 by Robert Kao and Lawrence Lee and participated in the AngelPad accelerator. It previously raised $2.45 million from CyberAgent Ventures, AngelPad, Urban.US and other angel investors. Cambridge Innovations (CI), the investment and technology platform of Cambridge Technology Enterprises Ltd (CTE), has made an additional, undisclosed investment in the company. CI says it will help Valet Anywhere extend its product offerings and scale into new markets by providing capital, technical expertise and operational support. The investment is positioned to leverage CI/CTE’s focus on technology, big data and machine learning to accelerate Valet Anywhere’s product vision. Valet Anywhere operates an on-demand parking service that lets car owners request a valet through its iOS and Android apps. The company has launched a monthly parking product, Valet Anywhere Long Term, which offers car storage with 10 in-and-out drop-offs and additional services such as free New York State inspection, fuel top-up and car washing. Valet Anywhere is available in New York City and Brooklyn. The company was founded in 2014 by Robert Kao and Lawrence Lee. In April 2015 it raised $1.35M in seed funding. Backers included CyberAgent Ventures, AngelPad, Urban.US and angels from AngelList.
