Vaniday is an international marketplace launched in March 2015 that allows customers to discover and book beauty and wellness appointments directly off salons’ calendars. Salons sign up free and the company charges a commission only when bookings are confirmed through the platform. The platform had signed approximately 1,500 salons and provides partnered salons with CRM, marketing, and online-booking tools. Vaniday is led by Founder and Global CEO Maxime Legardez and is based in Berlin, Germany. The company was operating in Brazil, the UK, Italy, France and the UAE, with further expansion planned within the next few weeks. It raised €15m in its first funding round.
