Co‑founders Brett Granberg and Nini Moorhead draw on experience at In-Q-Tel, Lilt, and seven years of counterterrorism work to translate cutting‑edge techniques into government use cases. The company says it will apply proven techniques rather than invent new math, adapting existing approaches for specific government problems. Vannevar intends to work with agencies to embed ethics and policy guardrails to prevent misuse. Financially, the startup raised a $4.5 million seed round to support early product development and engagement with government procurement channels.
