Vascular Flow Technologies develops medical devices based on its proprietary Spiral Laminar Flow (SLF) technology, which aims to replicate natural blood flow to improve patient outcomes. The company is led by CEO Bill Allan and is based in Dundee, UK. Current collaborations include ongoing work in stents and haemodialysis access catheters. It raised £10m in an equity financing that restructured £7m of loan notes into Series A Ordinary Preference shares and added a £3m Series B capital increase. The Series B was led by an undisclosed family office with participation from institutional and individual angel investors. Vascular Flow intends to use the funds to develop as a technology transfer business and to pursue strategic joint development and out-licensing agreements with industry partners.
