VBit DC is a hosting hardware mining company and subsidiary of Philadelphia-based VBit Technologies. The company provides data center capacity and mining equipment to enable efficient cryptocurrency mining operations. It was founded in 2018 by Danh Vo, who leads the parent company. VBit DC says it has served around 3,000 customers across multiple countries since launching. The company plans to use new capital to begin construction of a 200MW data center in Alberta, Canada. Once completed, that facility would be one of the largest data centers in the world dedicated solely to Bitcoin mining operations.
