Vectorize provides an enterprise platform that prepares, optimizes and maintains unstructured data for use in vector databases and large language models. The product focuses on the data engineering side of RAG, offering production-ready pipelines that handle ingestion, synchronization, error handling and real-time or near-real-time updates. It connects to existing vector databases such as Pinecone, DataStax, Couchbase and Elastic and helps teams evaluate embedding models and data chunking strategies. Vectorize also offers an RAG evaluation feature to test different approaches and supports multiple embedding models including OpenAI's ada and Voyage AI. The company has introduced an “agentic RAG” approach that combines RAG with AI agent capabilities for more autonomous problem solving and is already used by early customers like Groq to power an AI support agent.
