Overview
Veeqo is a retail automation platform headquartered in Swansea, Wales, that synchronizes inventory across multiple sales channels and enables retailers to pick, pack and ship orders. The platform powers over 31 million shipments annually and serves hundreds of retail brands including Brompton Bikes, Maidenhead Aquatics and Dove; one Veeqo retailer ships up to 10,000 orders a day during peak season. Veeqo offers omnichannel inventory and order management across multiple warehouses, a smartphone app for stock checks and barcode scanning, and barcode-scanning hardware that supports digital, paperless picking and packing. The product is designed to keep stock levels accurate and to enable high-volume global fulfilment. Founded in 2013, the company plans to use new funding to strengthen its position in the UK and expand into the USA, driving growth via inbound marketing, outbound sales and strategic channel partnerships. The team positions Veeqo as an all-in-one inventory and fulfillment solution for SME ecommerce retailers. Founded by e-commerce entrepreneur Matt Warren in 2014, Veeqo provides online inventory management software that syncs stock levels in real time across multiple sales channels. Warren built the product after struggling to find a solution to overselling and time-consuming stock updates across Amazon and eBay. Since launch the company reports 25% month-on-month growth and currently employs 23 people. Veeqo was developed to centralise stock between retail stores, websites, eBay Shop and Amazon Marketplace. The company plans to use funding for international expansion, developing new features and growing its customer base. Warren brings 12 years of e-commerce experience running companies with a combined turnover of £40m. Veeqo is a Swansea-based web app for online retailers that centralises order and inventory management so users don’t have to track multiple websites. The company was started by e-commerce retailer Matt Warren. Veeqo has used crowdfunding on Seedrs twice to raise capital and plans to use the latest proceeds for further product development. The most recent Seedrs round closed at £120,000 from 32 investors, following an earlier Seedrs raise of £30,000 from 66 investors. Veeqo is part of a growing tech sector in south Wales, and its founder is active in the local startup community, working with Swansea Start, universities and the council to help build a regional tech hub. The team cited Seedrs’ nominee share structure and platform experience as key factors in choosing the fundraising route.
