Veestro is a Newbury Park, Calif.-based gourmet plant-based meal delivery service founded and launched in 2013 by siblings Mark Fachler and Monica Klausner. The company provides whole-foods, plant-based meals targeted at overworked and overscheduled individuals, delivering ready-to-heat-and-eat meals made from all-natural, preservative-free ingredients. Its meals are described as high in protein and fiber. Veestro secured $1.5M in funding to support growth. The company plans to use the proceeds to build and equip a new 20,000 sq. ft. production facility and to establish a new East Coast distribution center.
