Veganz develops and sells plant-based products including its 2D-printed Mililk oat milk sheets and a pea-protein meat analogue called Peas on Earth. Mililk sheets (sold since October 2023) are produced via a screen-printing process licensed from Vitiprints and reconstitute into milk when blended with water. The company is working on an almond-milk version and plans to optimise and automate production to increase Mililk sheet output fivefold, including using around 1,000 sq m of its Ludwigsfeld site to target 50,000 litres per day. Mililk has expanded from D2C into foodservice in Germany and Austria and supplies Rewe’s Food For Future/Rewe Bio and Penny private labels nationwide (3,700 Rewe and 2,000 Penny stores). Veganz highlights sustainability benefits such as much lighter packaging and reduced water and food waste per serving. Financially, the company saw sales decline 31% last year but reduced its losses by nearly half and has raised over $24M to date.
