VEHICULUM operates a car leasing marketplace that has registered over 100,000 business customers. The platform is currently available only to businesses and the company says it has brokered contracts worth more than €300 million. VEHICULUM employs 70 people in its Berlin office. The startup plans to use new capital to open the platform to private customers. Management has stated plans to adapt its offering to changing mobility industry realities. Co-founder Lukas Steinhilber said the company is building a platform for future usage models—leasing, renting, subscriptions or flat rates—reflecting a shift toward paying a monthly fee for vehicle usage.
