Ventive

12B Parc House, Cowleaze Road, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 6DZ, United Kingdom

Overview

Ventive develops intelligent heating and ventilation solutions targeting air quality and sustainable heating markets. Its passive air ventilation system has been delivered to over 30 schools and five leisure centres, achieving strong air quality results. The company is developing a novel modular residential heat pump with an integrated thermal store, currently in advanced stages of development. Proceeds from the recent investment will support completion of the design and test phase, a factory build for the heat pumps, enhancements to its passive ventilation range, and expansion of marketing and sales capacity. Momentum for Ventive is driven by regulatory changes, rising energy prices, and climate change policies. The company has also streamlined its balance sheet following conversion of convertible loans. Ventive is a London, UK-based domestic heat company that provides modular exhaust-air heat pumps for new-build and retrofit applications. Its Home Heat Pumps are demand-responsive, integrated Indoor Environment Control systems that deliver ventilation, renewable heating, hot water and free summer cooling. The products aim to reduce cost and CO2 emissions across installation, operation and production. Ventive raised £2.5M in funding to deliver a modular heat pump production facility in Hartlebury, Worcestershire. The company has partnered with QM Systems, a subsidiary of AIM-quoted PipeHawk PLC, to set up and scale production to meet growing market demand. QM Systems offers multi-disciplinary production design, automation and high-value manufacturing services backed by engineering experience. Ventive is a London-based developer of patented passive ventilation systems with heat recovery designed for the built environment. Founded by Tom Lipinski, the company’s systems mimic nature in appearance and operation. The product combines air buoyancy and wind (active from very low wind speeds) to generate interior airflow and maintain air quality above minimum standards. Ventive’s first patented ventilation products are moving toward commercial rollout. The company plans to use recent funding to accelerate that commercial roll out and to continue its R&D programme for further market expansion. Ventive has raised more than £900k in equity funding to support these efforts.
