VentriFlo, based in Pelham, N.H., develops a patented blood-pumping platform intended to replicate the native heartbeat. Led by President & CEO Doug Vincent, the company is advancing the VentriFlo® True Pulse Pump™, designed to deliver life-like pulsed blood flow during surgery and in the ICU. The pumps are under development and currently for investigational use only; they are not available for commercial sale. VentriFlo originated from Design Mentor, Inc., a New Hampshire medical device design and development firm specializing in fluid pumping. The company closed a $10M Series A in September 2019 to continue development and support an FDA 510(k) submission for its platform. The funding will be used to advance product development and regulatory clearance efforts.
