In February 2017 Venuetize announced the acquisition of the intellectual property assets of eMbience Inc., a mobile software developer with proximity marketing and targeted advertising expertise. Venuetize was founded in 2014. According to SEC filings the company sold securities raising $4.2 million from six investors, with the Form Ds filed Feb. 27, 2017 and the first sale occurring on Feb. 13, 2017. The company indicated it hopes to raise an additional $1.76 million; the Form Ds were signed by Karri Zaremba, Venuetize’s chief operating officer.
